"You might say I'm a dreamer"
I have loved photography since I was a child and also love graphic art (I am the kind of person that WILL buy a book or CD for its cover) but sadly I only became aware of 3D art after crossing paths with Dragonluna. I immediately fell in love with her work and after a while decided to give it try, mostly because I wanted to make pics to go along with a fanfic I was writing. I am neither a writer nor a 3D artist, I just like to daydream and have ideas and fantasies, and I love anything that has to do with visual art. I am still very limited with the program and have loads to learn and I am also quite fearful of posting my pics considering the high quality of the renders on this site, but I guess we all have to start somewhere and this is where I start, sharing my fantasies with you. Thank you for the taking the time to look at my work. :)

She looks awesome! I don't see anything off -- the shirt looks great! I'm guessing you used the Fitting Room? Sometimes the pre-fit tool can be useful for areas that just won't cooperate with the other fitting tools. Or the morph brush. But it's always a bit of trial and error, as you say! While Officer Raven looks generally friendly, Officer Clymm isn't entirely sure we respect her authority, so she's giving us a slightly narrowed gaze. The kind that makes me want to make her laugh :-)

Yesss!!! You read her expression down to a T, that is exactly what I wanted! And you can bet that Officer Raven teases her about it and tries to make her giggle all the time too, as do her other colleagues. She says she has to maintain her poise, women aren't respected as much as the boys (is she wrong?). But deep down inside she is a softie.
On to the technicalities... I did not use the Fitting Room as I only experimented with that once when I first started using LH (I tried fitting M4 clothing to him). I keep promising myself I will try to learn how it works though. I used the morph brush to fix the hat over the hair. As for the clothing, I simply dragged it onto LF (as I would do for LH), both the pants and the shirt seemed to shrink a bit automatically (at least the pants did, I believe I scaled the shirt down a tad). Then I used the "copy morphs from". The pants were a lot easier to adjust, I just had to widen the hips and the thighs a bit, I used the morph brush for two small areas that just wouldn't go away. The shirt was a bit more complicated, I slimmed the arms, gave her boobage, tightened the neck, and just tried to get it as close to her body as I could. Like I said, the back was the biggest issue, so I used "Liquify" in Photoshop to adjust it. Thanks you for your feedback Amy, I really appreciate it!

I use the fitting room a lot and it seems like Amy is a bit ahead of me on that. If you every have a question, I'll try to help. That being said, I think you did a great job and resorting to a bit of postwork can sometimes be time better spent as opposed to messing with a bit of clothing for hours to get it to fit perfectly when you have already achieved "pretty good". I can't add anything to what already has been said except to thank you again for showing how I can do a bit of kitbashing with Dragonfly's dress shirt to arrive at a very pleasing officer of the law (this one a bit more stern than her partner in the previous image XD).

Thank. you so much Molly, both for your feedback and for your offer to help, I really appreciate it! I will have to start experimenting with the fitting room again. Since I use Photoshop everyday for photo editing sometimes it is indeed easier for me to fix things that way, but since I will be using this shirt more than once I would prefer fixing it so I don't have to worry. I fiddled with it a bit more and flattened the back with the morph brush so that now it looks pretty close to the LF blouse that I used for comparison (I had 2 LF's next to each other, one with the dress shirt and one with the LF Blouse). As for Officer Clymm, we'll have to see if Officer Raven and the other officers can make her giggle lol! (Like I said, I think she is actually a softie underneath the frown) :D
