Description
In this post apocalyptical asset and texture bash our girl Mel is in a bit of a pickle as she's managed to steal the targeted documents but her rival faction's warlord has entered the room and noticed the open window she'd used to enter his manse. Sneaking her way past his minions is a tall order at best, and capture would mean death or worse. Should she ventilate The Boss with her venerable Thompson M1A1 and use the window again, or should she try other means to render him amenable?
Despite winking out a ton of goodies the bloody thing took six hours to render which is a record for me. Likely a ton of issues and booboos but I'll not spin it again...

Great suspense scene! Excellent work!
jdwtrxk
Thanks Cool - was fun and a little frustrating at times.
eekdog Online Now!
you set some really super moody images. well done.
jdwtrxk
Thanks eekdog - I try to balance drama against my limited skills to tell as much as i can with an image. At times it works better than others...
Radar_rad-dude
Great looking scene, my friend! Most excellent details and stellar presentation! Many fine kudos from me!
jdwtrxk
Thanks Radar - think there's room for Mel in your Dakota? :)
starship64
Fantastic scene and story!
jdwtrxk
Thanks starship - thinking on more scenes with Mel as she's one of Sangriart's best.
pchef
beautiful scene
jdwtrxk
Thanks pchef - brought in a lot of assets and stuffed them into a re-textured 'Room in a Box'. Left a lot of them out to cut back on runtime and it still took forever.
gaius
Great scene and story...suspense at its best.
jdwtrxk
Merci gaius - I'm not a storyteller like Molly or Lyle but when I'm in an ornery mood I give it a whirl...:)

Superb composition, excellent atmosphere and lighting, brilliant awesome render. Exquisite Artwork. I love it!
jdwtrxk
Thanks mif - was a lot more work than a pinup :)

I think Mel is one of the pilots! In fact, he is the lead pilot if I'm not mistaken! A great pilot with lots of experience. Perhaps he will be made to do very heroic things before the adventure ends? As I said above, thanks again for commenting on my images and really love this one here! Hope you have a great weekend!

Thanks Radar - what was the chance of our having two very different characters with the same name? I shortened mine from Sangriart's Melis which he shortened from Melisandre as not to risk too close an association with the GOT character...maybe the two should meet?:)
Annerose
Very well done. It depends on how fast she could run :-)
jdwtrxk
Thanks Anne - she's pretty spry but...:)

I like the suspense built into the image, JD. The use of natural lighting (which is challenge indoors as I WELL know) really enhances the sense of danger. She is really out of place and firing her weapon will likely arouse all kinds of interest she'd not be happy with. As you know, I LOVE peril/suspense style stories and pictures and I really enjoyed viewing this one. Thank you for sharing it! =)

Thanks Molly - these scenes often take a lot of time to set up and often to render but it's always fun to pull in untried or dusty assets and give them a spin. There's been a number of useful goodies on sale in DAZ of late - almost to many to keep sorted. As I plopped in a pair of cached character pinup tests the last two times it's back to drama for the next. Have a zombie to try...

wonderful lighting and apprehension by Mel
jdwtrxk
Thanks Richard - she has a great features for some expressions.
