Description
The plane lands safely at the airport with perhaps just a bit of bouncing and sideways
lurching on the passengers behalf. In no time they have taxied up to the airport's
terminal area. While the main pilot shuts down the engines, Devon, the co-pilot rushes
back to open the passenger exit hatch as some of the airports maintenance crew slide a
stairs up to the side of the plane. Devon goes down the stairs and finds them suitably
stable enough for the passengers to deploy from the plane.
As he waits at the bottom of the stairs, he notices an old military jeep pull up
behind him. It's driver is a rather shapely dark haired beauty. She smiles broadly at
him as she exits the Jeep, just in time to see Steve Barlow rushing, perhaps a bit
too hurriedly, down the stairs.
Melissa Brokestar (nick named Mel) has been assigned by the National Museum to be Steve
Barlowe and Leticia Finche's guide while they stay in Bermuda! She has been tasked with
helping them secure all their equipment, find local accomodations, transport them around
the island and secure a boat for their explorations of the surrounding islands and
anything else they might need for their mysterious expedition.
Miss Finche, seeing the huge grin on Steve's face when he greets Mel, starts to seethe
with anger and perhaps, but not really(?) could it be, just a smidgeon bit of jealousy?
No! That could never be it! Whatever was I thinking?
But she is quite miffed that Steve rushed out of the plane without a seeming care in the
world while she struggles with some of the luggage. 'That man! Hmmmmmm!!!! Wait till I
get my chance to even scores! Why I oughta.....' she thinks to herself!
Mel seems quite gracious as she extends a handshake to Steve. She has met his kind many
times before and has no trouble handling them! She likes playing little mind games with
them just to see how much trouble they can get themselves into! She finds it quite amusing
to reaffirm her opinion of the utter predictability of the male of the species!
This little adventure is shaping up the be quite the potential 'hoot' she is thinking to
herself. As for Miss Finche, Mel has yet to size her up, but one glance at the steam
coming out of Miss Finche's ears gives her quite a few clues! Perhaps there is potential
there as well to enlist another in her amusing plans she has for Mr. Barlowe?
Thank you for taking a peek! Your support is greatly appreciated!

Great setting, Love the POV. Where are the hanger buildings from?

Thanks for the comment, my friend! I got the quasit from sketchfab. The radio/lookout tower I go so very long ago I couldn't begin to remember where! I think this is the first time I've used it even after having it all these years! Pretty weird, eh?
CoolDimension
Great scene and character work! I see now you that are using Vickie 2, I believe. You've done great character work on all of them and I love the classic 1940s style to the story!

I'm waiting for the catfight - heh, maybe in an alien arena :)
Radar_rad-dude
Thanks for the comment, my friend! I even brought your character Mel into the story! I know. She is no where near a cool as your version, but I gotta work with what I have! Much appreciate you support and remarks! Mell, I think, will be quite an addition to the story line. Wait and see if she isn't!

Congrats on a great job setting up this scene, it looks fantastic Bill! The time you took to pose all the characters, gives this image such an excellent look to it. I like how you introduced them all with full names, as it shows the high level of detail you are putting into this story. Keep up the amazing job you are doing with this evolving adventure, as it has the potential to continue on for many more episodes yet to come. Its totally up to you how far you want to go with it, I am here enjoying the ride on this awesome adventure of yours! :-)
Radar_rad-dude
Thanks so very much for your kind words, JohnnyM! I greatly appreciate you continued interest in this story line! I have many more episodes floating around in this old noggin of mine. Just hope I can remember a few of them and get them down more concretely before I forget them. LOL. Okay, I'm not that bad yet, but the more I think about what could happen next, the more evolution happens to the story! Hope I can keep you all entertained till the end!

Your Mel will do just fine Radar!

Mel certainly knows how to squeeze a lot of fun out of her job! Steve doesn't stand a chance :-) Ms. Finche needs to decide who she wants to be: an independent woman who can handle her own luggage, or a "lady" who's given special treatment b/c of her gender. I think she really wants to be the former, but occasionally she can't help wishing for the latter! I sure hope they can each do their research in relative peace, but peace does not a story make, so I wonder what kind of conflict will happen next!
Darkglass
Ha....Miss Finche got some competition...!! another great scene and chapter...
OmniFX
Fantastic scene and airport base background. The base really ads to the story. The story is very interesting with some humor added is great. Fine job!

Looks like there's a new interest for Steve! lol

Really great job on the scene, and continuation of the story, Bill. I think Steve may be in a bit over his head! LOL Mel sounds like she's been around the block more than a time or two...
MeInOhio
Nice continuation of the story. Nice scene layout!

Fantastic composition, wonderfully done, super image and story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Indiana Jane, perhaps. Awesome adventure, though I am getting behind, so much to do it's hard to keep up.
MollyFootman
Very good composition with a lot to engage the eye and it is greatly enriched by your textual story. I know this is one of those nitpick-y things but it seems that Steve has a bit of poke through on his left pants leg (thigh). >.< Sorry, but a nit picker picks nits. =)
Are some of these characters Jibicoco's stuff from ShareCG? In any event, I'm enjoying them and their adventures. Thanks for sharing!
Molly

Thanks for your kind comment and for your excellent nit picking! LOL! I love that you do that! Very much appreciated in all respects. Keeps me somewhat diligent and less lazy in my work. I need to be reminded to be more diligent in my post work observations. I do catch a lot of them since my Poser material is of such old generations. I am vaguely aware of the newer generations fixes that can be handled with almost one click of a button. Again, LOL. But I have to admit, I am just a bit stuck in my ways and also a bit to financially constrained to keep upgrading as much as these companies would like a person to do! As one of my old neighbors when I farmed back in ND used to say, 'the old way is better!' and we would laugh at his comment because he used that line so much of the time. But now I can relate to his sentiment! Tee hee hee! But I have transgress far too much in my regression. Suffice to say, dear Molly, again, thank you so very much for your comments! I'll always appreciate them all and it makes me so very happy when someone does like what I do.
Oh and before I forget, yes, Mel is one of Jibicoco's creations from ShareCG! I should have given credit for that. Mea culpa!

Great pose, excellent render. You bet Mel looks gorgeous. Anyway, she looks a head taller than Steve, she definitely can properly handle any task. Excellent job here, Bill!
