Description
It's now after midnight in mainland U.S., and I wanted to send Steve (eekdog) a huge hug and prayers that his hernia operation go as smoothly as possible. (There's a high likelihood it'll happen today.) And that his recovery be as easeful as possible. I'll report the results when he has them: May it go very, very well for you, Steve. You deserve it in every way.
It's not easy to deal with a medical matter at a time when he'd like to bask in retirement (well earned), and take in the joy of his loved ones and of the exquiite area he lives in (the Colorado mountains).
But also: He cares for his mother; and one of his biggest concerns was that recovery would take him away from her needs. Well I hope that he has a total recovery; and I wish strength and ease for his mom too...and that Steve be able to help her more with each day. (His concern for her is an example of Steve's caring heart.)
Fact is, he's given so much of himself---I mean, I've never seen a comment where he didn't hug the artist, call them 'my dear friend', or "dearest so-and-so", and embrace them in any way he can: He embraces, that's the word; he really appreciates people. And his own work has such light and color and 'burst' and freshness and eye opening expression that I want him to have all that he deserves in return.
This is an old photo, but I turned it into an 'autumn glow', to express everyone's wishes. I hope your surgery heals you completely, Steve, and with a minimum of discomfort. And I wish your mom wholeness too. All healing, with lots of hugs, love and blessings from me and everyone else...here's to your full recovery! mark

This is a beautiful dedication to Steve and I could not have said better than what a great guy he is to this community. Your well wishes and the way you care for those here is special Mark...as your words help to provide encouragement to those you so fondly mention. I hope and wish that everything turns out well for our friend Steve. :-)

This is wonderful, Mark! A beautiful and peaceful view - something you excel at capturing.
My thoughts and prayers are with Steve - hope all goes smoothly and as painlessly as possible for him. He deserves nothing less. He's been a good friend from the first day I joined Renderosity.

This autumn photo is beautiful. I like the sidewalk down the middle and that bright orange tree right overhead. what a great shot of a city in autumn.
I didn't realize that Steve might actually have his surgery today... I am thinking of him and I hope all goes smoothly.

I remember this street from your previous gallery submissions--it is such a beautiful capture... I too hope that Steve goes through the op OK and he has a speedy recovery.

Your autumn colors are fabulous, we have only yellow and brown mostly here, none of the pretty reds or oranges. Lovely dedi and I love the 'walk' down the street! Best wishes for your friends surgery and I hope recovery is swift and gentle!
