Description
Not the most upbeat photo, but I always found winter to have its own strange beauty...
This is my lake, many winters ago.
I keep returning to this shot because of its strangeness and mystery.
It's the tip of the Chicao skyline, resting on a glassy lake...

Thank you all for your wonderful comments and reception of my a.o.m. And for your continued love and kindness through the years. I'm very grateful for all of it. From the bottom of my heart.
I keep logging on with the intent of commenting in all your galleries; but I always have to stop before I finish. The virus and muscular problems of a month ago are still here...I'm still tired. (I was told to expect this.) So please know that I'm still catching up, and I won't forget any of you.
Thanks so much again. Have a fine week. And for my American friends, have a fine Thanksgiving! Peace, abundance and wholeness, mark

Art work like this one is always worth a second or third look, I can see why you like the mystery in this one Mark...its beautiful with its blue toned hues! No need to worry about comments my friend, just rest for now...there will plenty of time for comments later on! Enjoy the holidays and above all else, stay warm indoors! :-)

this is a beautiful image. the blues are peaceful and the city glows like cobalt glass against the bright white sky. I like the touch of texture on the reflection in the lake, too.
take care and feel better. comments aren't as important as your health. I hope you have a peaceful and comfortable holiday. ((hugs))

it is mysterious in a beautiful way Mark

This is almost an otherworldly scene--so beautiful and peaceful with my fav color, blue. Difficult to believe that those calm waters are the same ones that can turn into a roiling, angry scene. Do take care, Mark--often our bodies need more time to heal than we actually anticipate...Have a lovely Thanksgiving.

with the bubbles or what can be on the water along with the blue filtering sure is mysterious. cool indeed my friend.

It's going to take you some time to heal. Nine months later and I still have some problems. Just go slow and don't over do it.

Oh I do love this one Mark...my fav color for starters but I also like the mysterious feeling, makes me wonder what is going to happen next, also oddly comforting in the stillness of the 'night'...I like images that make me think and this one does! Thank you Mark for your letters, I am still exhausted but wanted to just quickly catch up:-)
