Description
“Tiny Dancer “
Print 120
As I mentioned before in earlier scenarios, I’m a self-taught 3d artist, who is inspired by anything. Everything I see, touch, or feel can become my canvas on which to develop my next illustration.
An idea for a particular print can take shape from something as small and mundane as a quote from a conversation I had with a stranger, or a close friend, that I had met for coffee on that day. Moreover, many times the insight for a print can soak through my head simply by listening to the radio.
About three weeks ago. It was a cold and rainy day outside. The sky was grey and overcast, and I was doing just that, listening to the radio. When the song “Tiny Dancer” by Elton John came over the radio.
As the song played out, in my mind I began to envision a young girl on a music box, spinning slowly round and round with the song as it played. While she was revolving, my mind began to notice other characteristics of the “Tiny Dancer”, such as the color of her dress, and hair. When the song was over, I had just about finished my image. “Tiny Dancer”.
