Description

Alteration V
Her dreams of exposure had long since sunk. In the middle of the ocean of doubts that carried her creativity, floated the space of her studio, reduced to its minimum. This idea of shipwrecked, almost voluntary, began to weigh on the young woman; it was then that she had the idea of reopening her sketchbook. Blank sheets, which would remain blank, and a stream of confetti of old drawings escaped from it like the breath of a light blowing away. A strange miniature house had dropped anchor in the hollow of this space. Her slow levitation, her lanterns lit in the night of boredom, everything invited the young woman to change dimension to enter this other world.

In the previous image, she seemed to be drowning in an ocean of possibility. Here we have her in afloat on a raft sifting through her previous artistic efforts. Is the house the elusive goal of her artistic endeavor? I look forward to more in this series as I somehow feel this is not the final thought that you have on the matter. Thank you for sharing your lovely prose (it translates to English well, I think) as well as the evocative images. <3

I think the house represents the artistic home, where creativity has been forged, year after year by the fire. It is a house that has its own particular style and location; it mainly marks a vertical axis, the young heroine believes she is in the best place to contemplate what she wants to be (on the balcony), when she will have to descend into the abyss of the unknown of her creativity. This is the moment in history where I prefer vertical to horizontal travel (and also across scales) to better change the universe.
