Description

I'm not sure if this will display well here (the dot patterns might get distorted), but this is my latest Poser illustration, and as you can see I'm trying to make it look like it came out of an old comic book. • Both figures are Michael 4. • The tank and German uniform are from Renderosity (see below). • The Cap costume and Red Skull morph are from a free download site (PM me for links). The line art was rendered in Poser 13 using the Comic Book Preview. Retro Colors were added manually in Clip Studio Paint using the Retro Supply Co. ColorLab brushes. The planes were lifted from a vintage WWII photo and converted to line art. Flames were hand drawn by copying some from the cover of a very old Flash comic book (Flash Comics #8, Aug. 1940). Truth be told, I'm not happy with the flames and I will probably redraw (or replace) them, but for now this needs to go to print so this is what it is.

@vechtdalcollege: Thanks, bud! This was the back cover to a fanzine about Golden Age comics. I wanted the dot pattern to be visible, but not overpowering in a campy way.
