Description

This sketch done at the request of my son who is really into the guitarists of the late 70's, 80's and 90's. It was done with 4H and 5H pencils and .3HB, .5B and.7B mechanical pencils. Do you remember when you were last listening to "Dance the Night Away" from their 1984 album "Van Halen II" or "Jump" from their album "1984"? Awww...memories! This is Eddie Van Halen.. I used the photo, as referenced above, for the sketch just so I would be accurate or at least very close. The original photo was taken...In Concert: Van Halen, Fleet Center, Boston, May 21, 1998.

I love the POV and use of dark, light, medium technique. It has such good contrast, you did a wonderful job on this, lots of greys and it still has depth, great job. Your work keeps on improving and impressing me on every piece. Outstanding.
