Description

'She watched, statuesque and transfixed, as the moon slowly rose over the city, cold, serene, watchful. Miranda drank in the light, ambrosial to her moon-starved body. The crystal lodestone hanging from her starlight neck took in the moonglow with a ferocity, channeling it to its own power... Even her skin seemed to soak in the light from the fragmented satelite as it would sunlight, only, instead of tanning, she paled, grew more creamy and white, soft as swan's down and softer still.... and she was wild, an amoral thing, a creature of mortal flesh containing an as of yet unawakened, and unknowing celestial being, complete without flaw or color, without malice or benevolence. Her eyes were closed, seduced by the enticing light, and slept. She neither swayed nor wavered on her perch so dangerously high above the noisy world. In truth, she could have been no more than a statue as she fed, sustaining herself on moon-light.' Finally colored, pure Phototshop6: a sketch for a story I did just out of highschool. Time: from c. 11:30pm to 4:30am working over scanned sketch that is c.13 years old

It's a good work, very good indeed. Great sense of space , and very evocative stance. I love the way you have made the dress, so toucheably dynamic in the fabric. I love this one. Keep it up the great work :)

Lovely image and I am glad to see I am not the only one that works late at night/early morning. Like the shadows below her that gives the illusion that she is floating !
