Description

This is actually somewhat of a terrain study, Iv'e been using "512 - ultrafine" terrains but it still looked low res and I think it was because of the type of fractal I was using. Anyway, this was originally a terrain only project but I started putting trees and got carried away, I wanted to make it more dense but my computer was freezing due to lack of memory. So this is pretty much what I got. Bryce with postwork in Photoshop to bend some palms. Thanks for viewing and a great week to all!

Very nice! Is that a river up at the top? This is one of those pictures that I started animating in my mind as soon as I saw it - a single bird flying overhead. Inspiring!

Looks like someplace over the jungles of the Amazon in Brazil. Sure hope the "plane" has enough fuel to make it back to civilization. Excellent job on this one, I really enjoyed viewing.

Extreamly well executed image Alvin!!. The terrain looks great and the addition of the palms is excellent. I also like the mist/fog hugging the terrain in low areas. Well done. ----- Scott.

A very realistic image, indeed. Just like Dash101, I automatically thought of a helicopter ride. Impressive work.

Wow Alvin, this is a wonderful image. My first vision was that of a herd of antelope or some sort of wild animals running through the wild, and of course with the dust kicking up behind them. That's my first thought when I viewed your Excellent work!

Excellent work. As far as the memory problems, that seems to be par for the course with Bryce,...it doesn't seem to matter how fast your processor is or how much memory you have. If the scene reaches around 200Mb's it starts getting fritzy. Anyhow,....I really like this image,...the first thing that went through my mind was, "charlies down there somewhere, and he's got an RPG with my name on it".

Whoa, Alvin! Awesome terrain work, the feel of being flying over it is astonishing, so my compliments for the dizzying POV! Also, great atmosphere and fog, and the trees are just perfect for it. Thumbs up, pal! [A sidenote: Apart that your terrains don't look low-res at all, you usually can try 1024res terrains without this affecting too much your PC - you know we have similar ones - I start having serious problems only with 2048 and 4096]
