Here I am! Hi everybody :)
What about me...Well,I'd love to make my living a pleasant and fruitful experience:I have always liked to paint and make drawings, but I never went to any school.
I love to write, and I like to express my soul in as many ways as I can think of...I don't consider myself an artist, though:I just love art. For more about me, just click here and visit my site.BIOI was born in Firenze, 17th of April 1977.
I am fond of everything which celebrates life and humanity:from writing, to painting, to music till sports and nature, all that captures my attention becomes an interest of mine.
If I'd die tomorrow, I would feel my life has been a worthy one already, but for every day that passes, I feel always more curious about it.
To be an artist (although I don't consider myself so,) means to have a personal vision about all that happens, equally outside than inside. For me it means also to try to connect with other's spirits in unexpectable ways and have an endless will of knowledge, and endless will to discover and test yourself and everything else, without fears, but with all possible emotions in the quest, and from the quest.
The world around it's therefore the best inspiration, all that is into it can touch the inner chords of my soul, although I can't say which way till it doesn't happen. And everytime it happens, it's a reveal, a miracle, and the vibes are the best one can feel.
Then sometimes I watch the blue sky, and I give shape to my heart and mind, and I float around... and smile for my live is really like I want it to be.
I have temporarily suspended my career as University Researcher, testing myself as Administrative Manager right now, and I still asking myself if what I got finally was awareness or disillusion, but anyway, it's my attitude to never regret anything that I made consciously.Let's give life a new try.
I am very fond of Foreign Cultures, they enlarge also my artistical perceivement of life, and it's something I find absolutely enriching.
I have never learnt English, so forgive me if I am not good at speaking nor writing it.
I can speak and write in French, I can read Spanish, I know Ancient Latin and Greek.
And of course, I am Italian so, my Mother Tongue has got no mystery for me.
Hooray for Dante! ;)

A moving image.. I think you have portrayed the essence of loss, and yet the bright sunny day offers us hope of better days coming out of the shadows!

It succeeds in communicating what you aimed for here: inside all is in shadow but light still remains outside. The interior room is the interior of our heads, and all the shit that may happen and all that we might punish ourselves for, whether deserving or not. An image for opening one's eyes, understated but somehow powerful nevertheless. Thanks hon luv :-)

Mia mamma qui di fianco a me, e sta continuando a ripetere "bellissima!... bellissima!". Piace moltissimo anche a me! E' veramente spledida!

I might be wrong, but it seems to me like you cought Barbara talking on the cell phone and took the shot thinking of all the things you've written above. That makes it true emotionally and it also makes a good idea for the shot but if you would have just waited till she's finished talking and made her pose for you the pic would get more of the atmosphere you were aiming for. It still is a pretty great shot, I'm just giving you my impression of what I think looking at it :)

For a beginner photographer this is a most excellent photo that portraits the mood of your description perfectly. I find your work here most inspirational. The lighting and contrast is amazing. Have fun in Rome, and the Sea. -Peace :-)

Yes, life goes on, and you have caught this, just as you described it, so beautifully. Pain and hope, the atmosphere of this photo is so moving and so refined.

I really like how the light is so distinct outside the room and door. It makes the whole moment and situation even stronger. She is getting married..and the light is just outside the door, or something like that :) Great picture indeed.

Very nice shot , there is a mystery concerning the model, are we in the present or in the past ? Sorry to hear about your aunt...

Wonderful shot with the yin and the yang of the life. I like the light in the back, it's a sign that after the rain comes the sun like in the life (I don't know if we say that in english too ? ). Splendid work, Meli !

Great shot! It portrays your point very nicely. But, but, pc-less after the 12th!!!! Is there life without a pc? (or in my case a Mac) Hope you have a great time on your holiday and look forward to seeing all the shots you take in September.

That is some DEEP meaning for this picture. That's AWESOME! I also love how the door being open is brighter than the tinted glass. The light seems to overcome the darkness. The tint allows you to see what's out there, what a gorgeous mountain! Rock on Sweet stuff!

Wonderful photo. It really portrays what you are saying. Yes, loss and the pain of it is a needed element in our lives. There must be darkness and light or we could never really see anything at all.

I agree with you. To stay alive in front of a computer, connected with cyberspace means to be linked to a limited dimension that can suddenly disappear after a click. And you can only partially communicate with others. There is not a real interchange because there is no effective presence. But if you feel empty, if you are hiding your emptiness virtual world can supply material to your self-privation. Virtual world can be seen as an ideal space where you can invent yourself through superficial contact with others. Superficiality permits a kind of polyvalence, a kind of ambiguity where you can insinuate a vague personality that in fact suggests nothing. If you need or if you cannot find another kind of contact to fulfil your emptiness (its the easiest way) gradually youll be modelled by your experience and youll became chronically superficial. You fill up your emptiness with frivolities and your personality stays in a kind of embryonic state. All possibilities are latent and yet you never cease to be an embryo.

What we see through your eyes are the many expressions and visions of life. You then share your words which give deeper meaning. Meli, you are quite the artist and visionary. Beginner? I don't think so....

I like the silhouette and the landscape through the door, it's a beautiful mood.

this is a wonderful, compelling photo with the sillouette & the beautiful landscape beckoning outside- your friend has a lovely figure but i agree with nuitek on the loss of the phone being more of the desired effect you wanted as well as the door not being vertical throws it off a bit but i realize it's the angle of your POV... still a sweet shot :]

The contrasting elements of this piece portrays the emotion felt after a loss perfectly. The dark can be very comforting, but the light awaits us eventually.

Beautifully done, Meli!!!!!!!
