Description

Classical or Heavy Metal? Which do you like best? The Chevy has been around here for a while in various galleries, but I wanted to see how I could do with auto paint jobs, so it was an obvious choice. This is the same "Tricked out Chevy" as my first post to Renerosity (see my gallery), but with a little more work. Comments and suggestions are quite welcome (I have thick skin, so feel free to give advice). If anyone wants the 1280x960 version for your destop, e-mail me. Vue 4 on a Mac; Rendered at 1280x960 and reduced to 800x600 in Photoshop along with some minor postwork on Gidget. Chevy #1 by mrsparky with paint job by me. Chevy #2 by mrsparky with custom paint job, risers and hood cutout by me, Engine&Wheels extracted from free_squir_model on turbosquid/www.squir.com Gidget by Mike Beals with textures by me.

Umm....Give me both of them....LOL. But if I had to only choose one...well it would be the classic. As I own a classic 70 Camaro.

George, Welcome to Renderosity ! It's good to see how quickly you progress - if you will keep up this tempo, you will be the best of the best in few weeks :-))) In this picture almost everything is perfect - I would consider only to use several additional lights instead of ambient to simulate sky light more naturaly.
