Vue/Painter/Photoshop
As to the picture, I'd posted it up before for a short time with a day sky and fireworks, but I thought this one always looked better. It was rendered in Vue. The head was taken from the P4 Horse and merged into the Vue ship with a bit of postwork and the horn added. The clouds and other effects were done in Painter.
