Description

The Goddess of the Wolf hears the call of the wild. Well, I decided I really missed everyone on Rosity and the artwork. The time off, though, did give me the time I needed to work out some of the issues in my life, and the parts I can't work out, will just have to live with, but unfortunately still means I have to keep computer time at a minimum. So I present this return as a new beginning. Thanks to all who sent me best wishes and communicated during my absense. Comments are welcome. Poser/Vue/Painter/Photoshop The background and the wolf was created with Vue, learning about terrains. The girl was posed in Poser, but then painted over somewhat to get the look I wanted in Painter (and some effects/plants created as well). Actually I found it more difficult to paint the Poser figures than if I did the girl from scratch. Then the whole thing was composited in Photoshop and the signature added. My dear friend...what a joy it was this morning to check my messages and see that you were posting again. I have missed you! I love the rich colors you used in the background and the work you did with the wolf is amazing...the look perfectly executed. The girl, though brought over from Poser has that "ShadowWind characteristic signature...flawless coloring, shading and hair. Her eyes really sparkle with life. I know what you mean about reworking the Poser figures. I have found it more difficult too. Anyway, my friend, a first-rate work of art from a truly amazing artist!...Cheryl

Welcome home! :o) Glad to see you are back with another stunning digital painting. Very nicely done, but I would suggest a bit more "sharpness" in the painted features (around her eyes and on her cheekbones) as opposed to what's already going on around that winsome smile of hers. :o)

Nice to have you back, Kaze. While I think you did a good job on the poser paint over, it just doesn't look like your normal work; it's missing the... feeling, I guess, that your hand painted stuff had. Short of that, I really like the image.

Guilt like silence is golden but cannot be easily separated from unrequited worry. The wolf bark makes her coy that someone does not care.
