Description

It's been a while since I've done anything with Bryce. One of the terrains is a heightfield created in World Machine-I just don't remember which one! Everything else is Bryce. Comments and suggestions are welcome.

I would say that you really need to work on the image composition. They say that "if it reads as a postage stamp, it will read as a billboard." You need to work on coming up with a really pleasing take on the scene. You can have an image with low contrast, very monochromatic, etc (as this one is) still be wonderful. Deciding on composition is takes into account making that 3D space relate to the 2D picture plane. Some things that might benifit this image are picking out the difference between the foreground and midground a little better, reinforcing where the image focus is (where is my eye drawn? The front tree? The back tree? The mountain?), and getting some sort of pleasing texture on that nearest terrain. All easier said than done. I hope you enjoy my comments and plan your next scene with boldness.

I love the colors here. The mountains have nice texture, reminds me of the Mesa Verde, and your sky is surreal. You have done a great job and I am looking forward to more from you!

Thank you all for your kind words and comments. livin 4 jesus-I understand, I think, what you mean about composition and the need to reinforce where the image focus is. I'm going to make some changes to this and repost when I have time.
