Description

As the ship soars into the clouds, so too do the ShadowWinds blow...Credendo Vides...By Believing One Sees, which is good advice for the artist in all of us. To see the world in a slightly different way... Vue/Painter/Photoshop As to the picture, I'd posted it up before for a short time with a day sky and fireworks, but I thought this one always looked better. It was rendered in Vue. The head was taken from the P4 Horse and merged into the Vue ship with a bit of postwork and the horn added. The clouds and other effects were done in Painter. Credits Image, sails texture, FX by ShadowWind Horse head mast from Poser 4 Boat from Vue library

Your 17th to 18th century ships and themes have been entertaining. I enjoyed once researching the constellation Papis or the poop deck in the Southern Hemisphere which is when Australia and New Zealand began to be settled and develop. Longitude and the development of the clock and watch mechanical movement to track equatorial distance occured then. Too much raving here , huh!!??

Dang, just when it was getting good. I understand now some of the hints that have been there for awhile, about pain as well as other distractions. i hope the pain goes, but also that you find a way to release creativity without the pain etc! but i can't offer you a solution. Wish i could, 'cos your art is really something special! i hope i'll be the last to forget and the first to welcome its reappearance. be sure to tell me if that happens, don't want to miss even a single one.

I hope you always know that sometimes with pain our gifts are given. Suffering does make for some beautiful creations. Surely nobody wants anyone to have to suffer..after all your images have brought us much joy. This one is beautiful, and I would say that even without your words it has a stong but divine sadness to it.. Like a Viking spirit resides aboard that ship.. a strong and convicted spirit. One with dignity and Grace..and I hope that spirit haunts us all.. now and again. HUGEST HUGS EVER!

As always, your true inner self shines through with the beauty of your art. May your troubles be swift and quickly forgotten. You will always have friends here. We will wait for you patiently, forever if that's what it takes.

I know how you feel, at least some what. You are a talented and popular artist. Some of us make images that only a few look at and even fewer like, but your work is so well loved and often very fulfilling to see. I hope everything works out for you and you can return soon. Best wishes, Chad.

My heart is sad...for I will not see your wonderful works of art for...will who knows how long...but I do understand. It has taken me awhile to leave a comment for this very reason. Selfishly, I don't want to lose another dear friend on this Board, but because I care so much for you as a friend, I would consider nothing less than you should do what is necessary for you to do. I will always be here for you....don't forget that and maybe someday...if it feels right, I have hope to see you back here again with those of us who love and care for you deeply. Take care my dear friend!...Cheryl
