Description

I am still learning how to paint in acrylic, and I was wondering what you guys think of this one. I used a mixture of indigo blue, paynes gray, and black. The cat was painted with the same colors mixed with titanium white. The eyes are more realistic. I used a sponge to paint the cat except for the eyes and details. Comments?

Beautiful work Lorraine, I love the way you've used the sponge to texture his coat and the lighting is great! I think the only crit I have is his eyes appear a little stuck on, maybe shadowing a little from the top lid and adding the edge of the bottom lid will set them into his head. You are doing so well with acrylics as it can be difficult to obtain such luminosity early on hugs Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing :D

Thank you, everyone, and I appreciate the criticism about the shadows around the eyes. I will try to fix that. Thanks so much for all of your comments.You guys are really nice.
