Description
This isn't new, I did this model a year
ago and it has been posted elsewhere.
I just wanted to add it to my gallery here...
Anyway, it's a tugboat, late nineteenth
century, steam-engine.
I didn't have blueprints for this one, I built
it mostly from period photos of this type of
boats.
Modeled in Rhino2 and rendered with BMRT/Rhinoman

Bravo! How about placing that lil feller inside a bottle.

Thank's, Glas. I forgot to add that it is untextured. Doors/windows molding, etc are modeled. Actually, I should render more images of it, there's far more to see... :)

Excellent work, looks really pretty. But if it's a tug where is to be placed the towing line? :)

Well, Gaetano, here's what happened: It was purchased by the US navy during the Spanish- American war and was to be turned into a gun boat...I haven't "received" the guns yet... :) You can see these tugs here: http://www.nafts.net/oldtugs.htm

Excellent modeling! The color you chose to present the image is a nice touch as well.
