Description

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been away for a few months! I'll try and post a bit more now that I have a few weeks off. ::: Part 41 of a series of Warbird Panorama Photos ::: Taken at the Planes of Fame Museum at the Chino Airport, California. (12/6/03) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- For more warbird images, please visit http://www.warbirds.n3.net --- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Aircraft is: North American B-25J Mitchell in front of one of the Museum's many hangers. This was shortly before they towed it out to the flight line and flew it along with a P-51D Mustang and SNJ Texan. This B-25 Mitchell, named 'Photo Fanny,' has been the camera ship and even a supporting star in many movies. From a camera ship for 'Air Force One,' a Doolittle Raider in 'Pearl Harbor,' and even the main B-25 star in 'Forever Young!' Along with being a true war hero... this warbird is also a movie star! This panorama was taken with a Minolta Dimage 7hi (5 Megapixel SLR) and is made up of 3 shots and stitched in the new Photoshop CS (8.0).

I've seen this bird in other pictures (static ones). It truely is a very beautiful thing to behold, as are many other vintage craft from this time. Very good.
