Description
My take on a Talisman (aircraft nose art) for a B-29. Most of the American bombers in the Second World War had such images on their flanks. My inspiration was a trip to the U.S. AirForce museum in Dayton, OH. as well as the works posted here by Cada (http://www.renderosity.com/homepage.ez?Who=Cada) and others.
The pose is by me, based on a Petty girl used for an Icecapades poster. [George Petty is the best. His female forms and curves are the ideal woman.] The hair is Gab Hair for Her by neftis. The bra and panties are Venus Lingerie by As Shanim. The Ballet slippers are from DAZ. The wings are RDNA Deco Wings by Traveler. I created a few matalic reflection maps and applied them to the clothes and wings.
Paint shop pro 8 was used to draw the rivits. I created a picture tube with 24 variations on the rivits. The lines and the rivits were all drawn straight, or at small angles. Then the Pin-cushion filter was used to create the curved look. The reflection in the silver body of the plane is a little light. The reflection is a blured and desaturated photo that I took while at the Air Force museum. It's a photo of a B-25, not a B-29, but I'll bet you would never have guessed it. I think it turned out pretty good. Of course, your comments are welcome.
