Description

I've been watching this old maple for the last few years. Every year I expect it to go over, and every year it hangs in there. With this year's rains, and the height of the river, I thought she'd had it. I went to check today, and it's upright, and in bud. Even the clump of ferns half way up are doing fine. Tough old girl. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

Thats one determined old tree:) Hanging on for another year...knowing you would come and check if it was there...you must have given it hope, Jim:) That looks like a beautiful place, which I'd love to visit, especially in the fall..the foiliage must be spectacular:) Thanks for sharing, Jim:)
