Description
I found my spot up on the Tonto Rim. Laid back took a nap waiting for the sun to set so I could get a picture of the cliffs changing colors as only they can do in Arizona.
A covey of Quail woke me up. I couldn't see them but they sure were having a party from the sounds of thing.
A beautiful warm Indian summer day. The Breeze was sweet smelling and a gift from Mother Nature.
Many bull rushes and cat tails surround this lake a perfect place for the smaller creatures to life fairly safe lives. Man doesn't get up this way very much, no roads.
Just as the sun was starting to do it's evening rendition of a box of crayons I saw a Eagle leave it's perch, starting it's dive to the lake. I knew it had a fish in it's sights. Wow what a picture this was going to make. I turned on my Auto advance. I wanted a nice series of shots from just before hitting the water till it had the fish. Here it comes Click, snick, snick. Hold it was is Snick snick? Hell I didn't check the film. I only had one picture left on the roll.
As I watch the Eagle fly away with his fish, I chant 36 exposures not 24, 36 exposures not 24.

Great story again - and love the picture. POV's perfect, and the background's amazing! Almost looks like it's handpainted - superb texture & shadow detail. Excellent work & V
