I'm not surprised you're so excited by this new direction sweetheart, as I see that same metaphysical aesthetic that inspires me so much... it's not just the cityscape (!) but the whole geometric aspect that attracts and stimulates me. If this is a first attempt at trying to integrate QP into art then I can't wait to see the works that follow! As always your falcon is exquisitely perfect. Now I want to see the original painting that this was based on... hopefully you can get Belinda to take a snap of it! ;-)
Truly Cass, a breathtaking example of your talent that takes us all on a soaring ride hugest hugs thank you so much for creating this masterpiece and for sharing it with us... and good luck with the comp! :-)

The piercing vision of the falcon! What better way to convey your creative insight? Done with such a delicate & beautiful touch. This is so totally engaging & yet peaceful it has the feeling of a mandala, the abstract such a pure rendition of reality..... I can hardly look away! Thank you so much for sharing this it's incredible ; )

To fly above the crowd, to follow one's own path. Intriguing composition, great colors, and of course the falcon is excellently rendered.

Wow, Cassie! This is fantastic! I love the way the birds seem to go in circles...isn't that so like our big cities? They remind me of roads that end up looking like spagetti in a bowl. Great job and lots of feeling. Hugs, Lorraine

Thank you everyone :) I think I should explain the meaning of this one a little more ;) - Electromagnetic (EM) energy is exhuded by everything and is one of the four forces that make up gravity. All animals have an instinctual knowledge of this force. Birds understand and use this energy to the extent that they seem to negate gravity itself. :)

I found myself looking at the patterns and shapes behind the falcon, to me they seem more hypnotising. Maybe it's the stress headache I have making such sweeping curves and the subtle shades and gradients seem more appealing and to me - more the focus of this piece than the bird at all. It's very beautiful, hugs and beats the Sydney Opera House for curving buildings any day.

This is beautiful in so many ways, absolutely luminous with itbig hugs That brings out the EM connection, even if a viewer doesn't know what it is, I think it happens on a subconscious level anyway;) The bird is gorgeous, so majestic and his feathers and wings so real and perfect. Thank you for showing us this:D

Like it just for what it is - a very cool image -but enjoy your tonal pallette in the geometrics - and that bird...

Wonderful Cassie the colours you have used in this are really nice and the mix of art and flight path illustration, work really well together. We have just been treated to a TV programme on the flight of birds and how they exploit the wind and use the flexibility of there wings, I can see a lot of that in this, I believe your falcon is about to take a dive for his dinner. LOL :0 )
