Description
These days I yearn to be a dog, a happy life, no confusion, no darkening fog; just sleeping in the sun, serenely passing the days.
Sometimes I sit and wonder, just where his mind does wander, just where he lies and ponders as he sleeps those summer days away. Are there fields inside his head? Does he wander there instead? Will he wish to wake up among the lark some day?
Alas, the window grates, they bar his grace which feeds upon the sunny glaze; as time he takes to lift his face and catch a few of the passing rays. Oh what a life, no worry, no vice, to tarry one's days away. But for all he's worth, and all his mirth, his logic lies in simple bays. A foolish life, stupidly he lies, that is what the world will say. But paradise, it fills his eyes, as he sleeps on those dog days.
Bound by a cranial capacity prison; born into the life of kings.

Sometimes I sit and think about the same with my dog. I have to say you've made a beautiful with a beautiful idea.

Very nice prose(poetry?), he dreams of fields of rabbits and butterflies to chase, a drink or dunk in a cool stream, a warm lap to lay his head on, and the love of a human companion to keep him company, very nice image...

Beautiful prose and a beautiful drawing!! The pose is so very doglike :))) btw our dog just lounges around like this at the moment.

Thanks for the comments. The writing...sort of shocked me this morning. I wrote it last night at 1 am after a full day of strenuous learning/testing, quite frankly, it's bad (super cliche). However, thanks for taking a look.
