Description


Modeled in Wings 3d and bryce. Took a lot of...artistic license with these tower speakers. Same basic concept, just changed a bit. Not going to claim it's a great model, just had an hour or so free tonight and wanted to fiddle. Thanks very much for taking a peek.

Are the spikes accidental or do you know how much better that makes them sound?

Wow... Yes, carpet spikes as they are sometimes called are used to increase the tonal accuracy by not adding additional vibrations to whatever surface they are mounted on. A similar option is to mount on granite or another surface with an insignificant resonance. If you were offended by another image take it up there, don't be condescending here.
