I don't who had more fun, me or the heron !! I was shaking from excitement because I was able to get so close, less than 15 feet, and I was still less than 50 feet from my hotel room. Bonaire is famous for flamingos, which are very skittish and difficult to get close to, it's a rare and amazing thing to be so close to a wild animal.
