Description
I found this old weathered grave a few years ago. I asked around if any one knew the story. Here is what I was told by a very old Cowboy. I don't know if it's true, but it sure tells nice. !
Old Andy was born someplace back East around 1870 or so. We never did really know for sure.
In fact we didn't know much about him at all. A quite guy who worked hard and kept to himself.
He was our best night rider, never had a stampede when he was night herding.
We all liked him and tried to get him to join in on the Saturday night heading into town, but he'd never go. In stead he would ride out here to the valley, set a spell just looking.
We knew there was something in his past, but hell it could be anything from a women to law trouble, we never asked. We don't even know if he had relitives
When he died we buried him at the spot he always went to. We figured he liked it in life, the least we could do was to give him this view for all time.

Grat work !

An excellent view, I love the way the cliffs frame the creek and distant mountains. Good surfaces and superb terrain too though I do think some contrast and gamma correction would make it look even better and bring the full colours out of the image.

Frank, you have done it! This is your best. That POV is a knock-out! The entire composition is pure excellence!!

There you go, pickin' on Utah! ;) Loved your story, and I agree with choronr. This is you best render yet!

Too bad! Interesting ground, returned not badly but contrast is bad I find and the colors a little insipid. And one sees stripes in the sky: a problem of rendering.

Awesome view Frank - I think if you had to pick a spot for all eternity, this would be it. Excellent stuff.
