Description

- Several months ago a friend whom I respect and has influenced me more than he knows :) made a comment on a work I did - Up until then all my stuff had been colorful - I felt traped in that image and wanted to do something Dark !! - So I did - I thought ! - His comment was something like this is to beautiful to be Dark - A wonderful compliment but in the back of my mind it haunted me - When I posted " The Keeper's Den " I feel I went about as Dark as possible - I found that in order to create Dark you had to feel Dark - When and if I find my way back there I want to post the story of that image in the writers area - I left the interpretation of the work pretty much up to the viewer and there is so much more to that work - Maybe it can only be seen in my mind and that is OK because it released me from this need to be dark and serious - Thank God ! - Because I found that depression was a side effect of dark emotion - I started to dislike and resent what I love - The Art and spirit of Renderosity - The people around me and myself - When I did The Watcher I struggled - I realized the work was only a after effect and a fake because now I felt forced - I looked at all the other work you had done that day and knew it was time for a " New Inspiration " - The tech. quaility of this work is not great but the inspiration is real - Thank You to Renderosity for teaching me so much about everything - To all my friends here I love you all so - You know who you are :) - I plan to take a short break from posting - But not from you all - Thank You & Take Care - PS - Thank You danob for that comment :) - SoulEatar -

how can we fully appretiate if we do not venture to the dark side now & then, as long as we don't get trapped there... you have a beautiful inspiration here to keep you from doing just that... i 'm sure Tedz would have something brilliant to say & will not guess as to what, but know if he were here to read this he would understand too... hugz & take care my friend :]

Inspiration is what one finds when he doesn't seek. Most inspiring things are closest to us as in this case the wonderful shot. You worked it out great greg. Dark and so you style of color use.

Inspiration and moods come and go, if we are lucky we can catch them, but it is impossible to decide beforehand what will come out of it. So it is with me, that is. Your words touch me, sometimes we need a break and just enjoy the things we have. Take care!!!!!

Cindy said it so well... as long as we don't get trapped there. Aren't you just a lucky guy to have such a beautiful inspiration? :o) And your artworks in any mood are inspiration for us, thanks! Hope you won't be away for too long. Take care!

We all guard the edge of the abyss differently. Some of us are forced to accept outside interpretations of the edge we find to be false. How we can explore that edge without violating the terms of life are a ghost.

You are not alone in that feeling. I think we all experience it at one time or another, art can be relaxing, but frustrating sometimes as well. Taking a break usually puts it into perspective. Wonderful image and we'll look forward to your return...

There are few images whether photographic, Poser created, and/or painted that convey so much in so little space as this very touching piece of imagery Greg. I apologize that I don't get out much anymore (an admittance of penitence at not commenting as much as I used to - health issues) but this gorgeous creation warrants praise and sincere accolade. Looking upon it, I find myself wishing I knew this bright, charming young lady and could explore the cause of such a radiant smile - no matter what - this is one expressive image.

As always my friend you are more than welcome and such friendships here are forged from a shared love of art and many things! I had sensed as you know times when you were down, and indeed been there myself. I have found that in order to encompass all sides of our emotions we dont have to stay there in the depths of dispair.. That sunny smile and love of another person is all we need to see the light again.. Sometimes Artwise we can try and force the issue and then sometimes get stuck I dont know its not a bad thing as it makes us realize that we can try again and do something else... Inspiration can be a two headed monster you can go to see the work of a master and feel inspired or want to give up!! I just keep trying and so do you!! Just do what you do my friend lots of people are inspired by what you do never underestimate your gifts!!
