Canon 10D + Sigma 28-300mm Hyperzoom (at 300mm)
ISO 200 f5.6 1/350
Following on from the dead tree (or, according to both ilutegija and Carly...trying for one last chance at life...a Zombie Tree, perhaps?) we move a little way further in, and through the trees, a clearing. The sun suddenly looks down, and catches in the haze. A bird hops around in the sudden warmth and suddenly I am a hundred years in the past. This is one of my favourites, and I hope you will enjoy it too.
Tomorrow, a little further on...and still it continues.
Thanks for viewing.

Had to sit here a while and let the peace flow over me. The soft light- the resting, lone bird.Gorgeous shot.*Vote

I agree with Kazzy... fantastic mood. The light is sublime. :)

When there is stillness in movement the spiritual rhythm can appear. Great.

This is fascinating... I don't know how you do this...the pic is not a pic...it really is moving... There is so much life to it...so much love... Thank you!

Amazing light and mood!! Excellent Shot!

Yeah. I love it. Nice lighting and compo. Look like a cemetary in the wood or something. Here, im my town there is no cemetery like this. Only big one near the road. Excelent shot raven_nightmare. v |O| Benoit! |O|

Beautifully eerie...and reflective. Excellent pic.

This is simply increadible! I'm torned between peaceful cemetery, a "Quake" alike scenery, a scene from a Stephen King horror film and a frisson of excitement because of the simple, canting background and the dark laughing (crying?) front scene. The shining sun makes the scene surreal, absurd and paradoxical. Increadible mood you did!

I understand why you prefere this one, it has an outstanding mood and the first detail I've see was this little bird. Great shot. V

In cemetarys always prevails a strange peaceful atmosphere. Guess its a good place for meditation... Great shot :)

Your series is so full of mood... A marvellous shot again! DOF and light are just perfect!
Carly
Ikarus is exactly right - what a paradox. It is absoulutely amazing how OLD everything looks, almost like the trees are competing in age with the tombs. The light is beautiful and there is a cold warmth to the glow that you've created here. Awesome work, Stephen!!

Beautiful depth and light in this.... one of my favorites so far. But I still have a few more to view....
Niutek
This is the kind of cementary mood I like - as if all souls were at peace... :) Beautiful narration, too :))))
