Everywhere people with camera's find their way in this world to make their shots. I like the art of taking realistic pictures, because it provides a way to show how I experience this world. It is a way for other people to look through my eyes.Nature ... exists primarily for her face, her look, her appeals to the heart and the imaginationGeorge MacDonaldJan-Carel Vierbergen
Picture courtesy of Ruut WegmanBIOIt is all in the family: love for hiking in the nature. Since my childhood I'm used to walk with father, brothers, cousins, etc., and take pictures (Minolta X-700 with 28-70 mm and 100-300 mm zoom) of what I see. I grew up in Ede (The Netherlands), studied Electrical Engineering in Eindhoven and I am working now as Coordinator e-learning at the Christelijke Hogeschool Ede (http://www.che.nl) where I implement digital assessments for students and assist students in DTP and creating websites.
Since I know little about photographing as well as computer science it was not difficult to find ways for putting images on the web. The only thing to look for now is to find ways for showing the slides in a convenient way. I tried already something at http://www.che.nl/users/jcv (Dutch only, click at Dia's van de natuur in Nederland en de Alpen), but this platform provides good means to share my pictures with others.
I hope you enjoy this!

Beautiful photograph!!,By the way, just out of curiousity, What's that domed structure on top of the mountain right in front of the cloud ???,does that have anything to do with 'luthor' ??
jcv2
That domed structure is the typical roof of a Bernese building on top of the Harder Kulm, (1322 m), to be reached by a little train or by foot. Unfortunately it has nothing to do with Lothar. But please don't give up!

A great landscape and a perfect shot. 'Say, it would be nice if you take some indication of programming your cam under your upload, (speed, Aperture and Iso), just a suggestion. Anyway, thanks for sharing.

mmm - much prefer this shot - the foreground really makes IT! + gives it a grander sense of scale & a more complete colour IMO. Good work!
