Queensland Maritime Museum
exhibit b: Big Bob
Meet Bob the black n white buoy. He has a limited view of life (even more so following his retirement). I tried to show his warm side. Although everything about him is black and white he isn't as dark as he's painted. He is just used to being in very deep waters.

bobbing around in deep water...a metaphor for life perhaps. I've always found deep water to be slightly scary...and that includes things that live there...especially passive things like this. It truly is another world...and this has something of the alien about it.
