macronaut and texturistBIOHello dear reader/viewer.....My name is Adam, a New Zealander resident in Brisbane (Australia). Photography, 2D , Collage & writing are my chief joys.I hope you enjoy my work, which i describe as abstract-intuitive experimental. My focus is natural and artificially sourced colors & textures particularly. To paraphrase Foucault... 'I am not who I was yesterday...' and I thank God for that! As a Christian in the born again camp following Christ struggling along through the victorious path of surrender and close fellowship with Him, the sidelight of creative self expression has become a great privelege and joy in my life. For inspiration I thank my Lord for it... and acknowledge His handiwork - the harmonies and design elements of nature. He makes all things work out for those who love him and are called according to his name and purposes. (Romans 8:28)
Please enjoy the work of the great artists I have listed below... the photographic images below collected from here on rendo I think are pretty neat too!

believe it or not, I took a similar photo a while back, but haven't posted it...just wasn't as good as I wanted. This is fantasting, though...is it a firing pin in the torpedo? As for shy and retiring...ahem...quite...

Look I really don't know. I think it is a hook-end to help lift the thing into position in its bay. I don't suppose it would matter too much what the end looked like once it made it's way into your hull, but yes it may have a detonating device connected. Ask Tedz, he's the resident nautical /electronic gadget encyclopaedia. shrug

"Damn the torpedoes. Full speed ahead." were the words from Admiral Farragut during the Civil War's battle for Mobile Bay. My second day of spring vacation I visited Ft Gaines on Dauphin Island, Alabama.
