Very soft and sweet... music to the eyes!! Excellent!

Nice! I like the free-flowing lines, the colors, and there's a cool sense of rising, getting above it all.

This is so impressive Cass. I don't know if the hypnotic energy spiral is pushing the bird away or drawing him or carrying him. This affects me simutaneously as pressure, even opressing, and as a catharsis, liberation. I can just stare at it and let it flow into me, or I can fly into it. It has energy in it! It has beauty, and joy. It has sorrow. Such a deep, and gentle and strong image. huge hugs

The spirale of emotion yes, with the black bird in the middle....is he a symbol of pain or joy?? Hope perhaps? A beautiful piece my sweet Cassie! Thx for sharing sweety-pie and warmest hugs to u! :)

I've been thinking about this painting for 20 minutes. They say that's the sign of good art. :) There are many symbols in it that I didn't realize have meanings for me before I saw this image. You're inspiring me to pick up my brushes and finish the oil paintings I have started. I can't help wondering what those symbols mean to you. The textures add so much interest to this painting. Beautiful work as always. :)

For my own interpretation of this piece, I'd say that the spiral is the classic Golden Spiral, formed from the Golden Ratio/Mean, phi. It's a formula so many artists use in their works, (Mona Lisa is a classic example), but is really so much more than that. Found in everything from snail shells, ferns, and DNA to fingerprints, cyclones and galaxies, you can find it in just about everything. And I'd hazard a guess that its use here is one of both an inner journey of exploration, and one of liberation and freedom. I hope the journey is an enlightened one for you, thanks very much for sharing it with us. hugs hard

Thank you my angel for showing us this masterwork! So far all I'd seen of it was part of it hanging on the wall in that photo of Matt you sent me, so it's great to see it properly like this hugest hugs :-)
I'm glad Ava picked up on the Golden Spiral as I know this will have been very much integral to your concept for this image. It's made me realise again that it's a natural form I keep noticing all around more than I realise; if not always as a literal unbroken spiral itself, then in the fractal behaviour of naturally occurring patterns everywhere, the exponential relationships of size and density between elements of a whole, the beauty of iterative metamorphosis. Fark knows how well I described that but it's late and I'm gonna get to bed soon L... you'll get me anyway... not sure if this was even at least part of what you were getting at, but this is very much what it's saying to me and for me the bird symbolizes a journey, a valiant attempt to penetrate our entrenched blindness and see the clarity beyond the mask HUGS. Thank you for being you, a beautiful mind who inspires me to see beyond for myself, even if for much of the time I can't see for looking ;-)

Wonderful image, love the look of spiraling down with the bird. Superb!

So much that often remains incomprehensible realised with stunning artistic clarity & fluid style, the order inherent in chaos be it personal or universal revealed through your exceleent use of symbolism & inspired technique. I don't have the words to say how much I love this Cass, beautiful work & then some! ; )

My god Cassie... I lost my breath when I looked at this. I do not know what you were thinking when you made this, but I do know how it makes me feel. When I look at this I am reminded of the journey we all take through life. No matter what surrounds us the journey is ours alone. Alone we navigate through concentric circles of the relationships shared with many... textured with the experiences that make the journey unique to each of us. It is a warm but lonely feeling your image has inspired in me Cassie and I love it. Thank you for once again sharing your amazing talents with us... you are a gift to us all.

HUGE HUGS Thank you for putting this up, it's a wonderful thing to see after the digital version. There's something very tangible about this picture, very real. The texture of it brings it alive, making it a real joy to look at. And more spirals are never amiss:D
