Description
A friend loved "EMotion" so much she commissioned me to create one for her, so this is what consumed my weekend. Following "rumour_nz's"suggestion of the Golden Spiral I decided to follow the rule a little more closely with this one, and it seemed to suit the long canvas that was supplied to me much better. I also decided to make the EM vector a little more prominant, with obvious 'energy' changes between its lines.

I'm not sure but I think I actually like this one even better! The tall format certainly suits it well. Again so graceful and so powerful, thanks for sharing and your friend has good taste! ;-)
Hope you're okay sweetie, I'll certainly catch you later if you want to talk hugest hugs :-)

I really don't know which one I like best as they're both really beautiful! This one looks more sad to me though...something in the bird's pose...his head down perhaps? I love the warm colors. U did a wonderful job once more my dear Cassie! ;)

I can see and feel the energy here - even better than in the previous one - this is so focused into the center of the energy. And I still see that interesting ambiguity of rising or going down. Really beautifu, and I love to see better now the details of the bird, and lines here:-) --This very high format isn't best for the monitor - but it's monitor's fault, not that of the painting:-) I love this Cassie! Thanks for sharing! HUGS

I think you could do almost endless variations on this inspired theme & they would each reveal something more! The narrow format really intensifies the sense of space & the hovering poise of the bird gives a wonderful sense of ever immenent motion, I love the harmonious colour which just allows my eyes to rest on the image slowly absorbing everything it has to tell me.... stunning work once again Cass, thank you so much for sharing this with us hugs

Nicely done "reproduction" that borrows from the original yet finds its own unique expression.

Astonishing and beautiful piece of true art.

You can see with this so much more of the details of the bird and its feather patterns. I also love the textures you've done with this in the different segments of the page. Looking through the splatters I can see a sort of egg shape, so now I wonder if there isn't a sort of phoenix theme attached to it. Very beautiful, Cassie, you do us all proud with your work. hugs

This one is stunningly beautiful Cassie. I can definitely imagine this hanging on a museum wall (right next to all of your other amazing works). You are a brilliant artist Cass, thank you for sharing that with us.

I have some minutes that I wasn't hoping for to spend here... and it was natural to get again through your gallery. Your heart is in your art. So clearly for my senses, so clearly for my spirit.

Very lovely, very strong. I like comparing the two pieces and noting the differences. When I saw the thumbnail for the first time, I wondered if it might be a tattoo...
