About 2 weeks ago, I was priviliged to see Wynonna Judd on Oprah for the second time. She spoke of her weight issues all steming from her personal identity problems. Anyway, it was a moving hour of television, largely, at least for me, because it's very difficult to be transparent with the world as your audience. I think this is especially difficult for celebrities who depend upon the "world's" view of them for their livelihood. At the end of the show, after everyone was wiping their eyes, Wynonna sang the song ..."I Want to Know What Love Is". It was powerful and if it has crossed your mind that this is not a song for a Country artist to sing, then abolish that thought because it does not sound Country in the least. Her vocals are astounding and will send chills up your spine. The digital painting was referenced from a photo from her latest album. I brought my pencil sketch outline over into PSP8 and began to paint. I had also done a complete pencil sketch using H, HB and 2B pencils on Watercolor paper. I hope you are pleased with the results.
