Description

With about 3000 plant species a small country as Switzerland is endowed with a rich variety of flowers. Fortunately they're not blooming at exactly the same time but spread from early January to late December. Most of them bloom in spring and summer, like this leafy lousewort (Pedicularis foliosa). It appears quite soon when the snow has melted on altitudes, usually between 1100 and 2200 m. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 70 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Ik kijk iedere dag weer met plezier uit, wat je deze dag gaat plaatsen, aparte bloem, maar ik zit liever in gedachten in de bergen haha

Wow Jan, its the first time I see those plants, they're special, I think because Switzerland has some "micro climats" (I don't know the word in english) Its a real pleasure and excitment to see and discover this plants. Excellent and wonderful shot, perfect centring ! V and :}
