Description
Time for another hike! Good weather conditions are the incentive for me to go outdoors. After a short trip by car, partially on a 30% (!) rising road I park the car at 1200 m and continue by foot. From there I want to go to the Hohgant (2197 m), a summit with a splendid panoramic view. If the weather conditions do allow it. Where in the Netherlands the juniper berry only stands tall there is in the Alps a prostrate subspecies. It can cover rocky areas. Here, at about 1500 m, it covers the area between forest and meadow. I start this hike with this common view. One never knows what is going to come....

another journey...another adventure...am curious what lies ahead. this would make a great place to stop and take a break, waiting to see what birds come around!!! As you said, one never knows what is going to come...
