Description

This is a piece I started months ago and just couldn't find a good focal object. A few days ago I was getting Vue established in Panther (Mac OS X) and saw this old iron tractor among my 3-D objects and it just clicked. Add in my RustMats and it was exactly what I was looking for. It is not meant to be a re-creation of reality, but rather an artistic image to convey the feeling of a very harsh and barren (perhaps very cold) place, but with great beauty in spite of it's harshness. Vue4 on a Mac; Minor contrast adjustment, no other postwork. Very nice. I really like the way the birds draw my eyes to the smokestack on the tractor. The only thing I would suggest is to add a little light to the rear of the tractor. Other than that, a primo job!
