------------- The Harpies - Beliz
Now settled into Pellea and with a better understanding of the SunGate of the Seer, Tylyra yearned to return to the northlands from which she sprang, to see her old home again now that she had learned the Lord-Ranger of Paleurevalla had restored Syvasdryl. She wanted to find her mother's spirit and put it at last to rest, something now within her capabilities as a Necromancer. She convinced Neuryneth and Ellsbeth to join her, but Danai would have nothing to do with such sentimentalism. So the three activated the SunGate and stepped out into the freezing cold of the Eastern Joutens, the mountain range that rims the valley of Palleurevalla. Heading down from the snows, they ran into a band of Gnollak warriors, still convinced they could reign supreme in the lands they had once conquered with the aid of the Black Witch and the Tarkanian hordes. In their possession, they had a collection of slaves and numerous scalps. The Harpies attacked, killing the Gnolls and taking their booty. Only one of the Gnollak captives raised a hand during the encounter, and she would later prove her usefulness against a band of Tarkanians that waylaid them on the road down the mountain. She was a venomous little Zeigus Elf, entirely too young and too small to be an adventurer, and unlike most of the Zeigus the others had ever met.
Beliz Fennestra had been born in Carellon, on the northwestern coast of Callona, in the town of Goriz on the Sea. As a child, she had suffered through the War with the Wolf Hordes and saw her family destroyed. She had sought training and an opportunity to fight, but none would have her because of her diminutive size and frail physique. But she persevered and soon found acceptance as an apprentice to a Mage in New Calladon. After twenty years of tutelage, her training was done and she set out on her own, still barely out of puberty. But deep inside her, she still had a burning hatred for the Gnollak and the Tarkanians that had stolen her life, so she set out for the northern wastelands. Taking a ship heading out of Pawldur towards Hergovaine, she joined with a band of Hergovite youths that were sadly lacking in imagination or magical talent. They had a plan to get rich raiding the Q'llani villages on the border with Tarkania. Beliz knew better, but she couldn't set out alone across these unfamiliar lands, knowing nothing about how to survive here and being too small to stand up in a fight with a Q'llani berserker. No surprise, the whole band was captured and sold to Gnollak slavers heading into Tarkania. Only the sudden appearance of three powerful warrior women from the south saved her. She left the foolish Hergovites to their fate in the snow and joined with the two half-elves and the Sylvisan. Time after time they would have to protect her from physical harm, but her magic returned the favor again and again. She became the Sorceress of The Harpies.

Great character, pose and expression.
She looks a bit enraged!
Looking forward to those action scenes.

I detect a not so lady amongst the women. If I remember my magic, and if I remember my colors, I would say someone is not showing her true colors. Nice render - as they all are. I like them all.
TalonGE
Yeap, that would Lawful Evil,... nice that you noticed, or remembered for that matter,... but I never said any of them ladies,... that's why they're called The Harpies.
