Interesting POV and the mood and sky are great. I love the story behind. Is it possible to have one of those buttercup dragon cuties for a pet? LOL.

What a charming contrast between fantasy and Science Fiction. The composition is classic (your basic horseshoe shape), and your colors are a nice, rich, gentle palette. I know you were working to match the lighting to the photo, but I think shes a little dark. Perhaps a single ray of light falling on her might allow you to play with volumetric lighting (or fake it in post like I usually do) and shed a little more warmth on her? You know, if this were a tighter vertical image, it would look like a book cover! Very kewl image!
