Me and my beloved sailor...never so far apart....never so close.

Although I've been a member here a long time, I have had little opportunity these past few years to savor the joy of posting my art and commenting on the work of those I admire and have had a friendship with. Family and medical has taken precedence in my life, even to the point of not being able to sit long enough at a computer to work. So now that things are looking a bit brighter and I am feeling better, I hope to once again post and comment! I have so missed this circle of talented people with their warmth of soul and passion of art. -- Feb. 22 ' 08

You should make a book of your poems because they are just simply wonderful....they bring one through an entire spectrum of emotions...Brilliant work!!

He really did a number on your heart. The solitude & sadness of this perfectly mirrors the day. Bravo my dear!

Brilliantly written! I agree with Avalonne in that you have an incredible talent for capturing such a broad range of emotions in your work and successfully bring them home to the reader so they feel them as they read your poetry. You're one incredible talent, and yes, go for that book idea!

Beautiful compact and precise language [as I've come to expect] for one of those apparently trivial betrayals which wound so deeply. vote

Words from the heart...beautiful and elegantly said. Brava!!

It is true that lies, even the most minute ones, can wound us deeply. The betrayal of trust can create both distance and loneliness as you have eloquently expressed here. Beautifully written.
