This holds true for all things: when Dr. Jones broke into the subterranean world of the dragons, the magic broke out." -The History of Aroth, Volume VII (Prelude to War) The thirteenth image in my Aroth story arc (started with Desolation). Images to date: Desolation, Captive, Bait, Arcane Magic, Tragedy, Ambush, Departure, Underground, Observation, Nexrosis, Breakthrough, Encounter, and Return. I actually created this image quite some time ago (before I'd even begun to work on Breakthrough). However, what with one thing and another, I'm only just now getting it up. I'm sorry about the unrealistic texture on the building... I'm a Poser not a texture artist :) Special effects and compositing done in PSP6. A very interesting pic. I especially like the shape of the blue energy force. I'd recommend making it look more like light or mist. The solid blue color looks a little out of place. Still, the pose and expression are perfect. Nice job!
