I'm a little late in posting today, I have been
talking to Nick, who is giving Mr Nasty his
SECOND warning right now. He is also posting a
message in the forum so people who receive
nasty IMs can come forward and speak out.
So please, if you get one, go to the forum.
The good news is, if Mr Nasty doesn't stop now,
he won't be around here anymore. I desperately
wanted to name him here today, and publicly give
him a piece of my mind, but Nick asked me not to,
which is VERY frustrating, but I will abide by
what he asks. I have told a couple of people
who he is though, by email....and I think quite
a few have guessed his name !!! I have to tell
you, I had another IM from him last night saying
I was being childish !!! and telling me to delete
what I said !!! He has upset SO many people, if
it was up to me, he wouldn't get the chance of a
second warning, he would get his marching orders,
but there you go.
Now I'd like to say how completely overwhelmed
I was by all your kind and caring comments, I've
never had much confidence,and I had no idea just
how much you all cared. After reading all the
marvelous comments yesterday, I couldn't stop
crying. I've shed buckets of happy tears, and my
keyboard has got awfully wet, have you ever tried
typing on a soggy keyboard..big big smile.
Your support has been absolutely wonderful, and
I couldn't possibly leave such a terrific group
of friends, but I think I will have a couple of
weeks off. When I am refreshed, I will definitely
come back. You have all helped me so much, I just
can't thank you enough. You are all fantastic,
and I will see you soon, Thelma.

Unless you tell Nick don't let this jerk get to you report his butt let him fry for a change OOPS sorry Thelma but we know how it feels and how important it is to report this kind of preverted behavior. I'm glad you didn't quit! And will continue to make such wonderful visions. If you let the bad apples win, then you don't have fun yourself and that would be just a shame. Good for you & glad you decided to dig in your heels! Hopefully Mr. Nasty will no longer plague you or anyone else; he's probably a pimply, round-shouldered cyberbully whose only friend is his computer and even IT would refuse to consort with him if it was human. Caolyn Windham is right; if he can cow ONE of us, he can cow ANY of us. BY the way, your latest fractal is gorgeous!

Yes, a great idea to let the fractal moderators handle this type of situation. I don't think any of us should let one person's negativeness and jealousy get us down. I'm glad you are not saying who it was that posted the nasty IM, but as for me, I think I know who it was. He has his own set of problems. And I hope you get rested up and put this ordeal out of your mind for a while. This is a beautiful flame image and wonderfully colored. My best to you and we will see you in a while.

Wonderful Thelma, you're doing the right thing by taking action and standing up to him! We should all learn this lesson, we should take a stand against people like "this" more often! I applaud you and I hope Nick will keep this person watched, as I know he will! This man has definitely got the wrong kind of things in his mind, his priorities are out of order. The only concern he has is how many images of his are in the Hot 20, well to me that is being shallow and jealous! To me it's not how many votes you get or if you end up in the Hot 20, but it's about being able to be happy with your image you have posted! If you are happy with the work you have done, others can see that! Our love to you and hurry back soon my dear friend! oh by the way this image is very beautiful I love the colors! ;)
