Great fractal, Dirk, but it brings to mind Golgotha.

I find this a disturbing image, crucifixion, guilt, hmmm one to ponder ... Its great when artwork does that!

I see the foreground as a pool full of water with a fence separating the dry sandy mounts. I don't see any crucifixion like other people. I see it more like those lanterns on sticks

Oh my God! This is a very nice and meditative image. I've been seen "The Passion", and this image remember it.

Such an incredible expressive work of art. It hits you with the mood as soon as you look at it. And I love the texture. And your words carry that sense of pushing away or abandonment as well. Very complimentary to the image.

Cool image Dirk! Looks like a weirdly decorated fence dividing us from the strangely shaped mounds. All very wild 'n' crazy! Well done! (:

Each new day we try and fail, but it's in the TRYING, not the winning that we accomplish the change! Staunch and unmoving through the flood and the winds of adversity. We stand, though we fail and fail again. It's in the tenacity. Nice example of tenacity. That's what I see, anyway.

I thought crucifixion as well, it has a dreadful forboding air. Lovin' the darker side of your work lately suits a mood I'm in. Excellent!

Awesome shapes, great depth. The cross in the front seems to be popping right out of the monitor.

This is a symbolic and strong representation of the passion of Jesus Christ....!! Splendid combination of shapes....!! Have a complex and very elaborated composition...!!

OK, I've been looking at this several times and thinking about it alot. I do see it as symbols of crucifixion, not the death of people as such but the death of will and ideals in a world that seems basically random and meaningless. A world where it doesn't matter if you try or not, success and defeat ultimately are the same. We all end up the same and with our planet we will become part of the sun in a few billion years no matter what we do or feel. Visually it's a great looking image, great colors, forms, textures, and composition. Emotionally, very powerful. Excellent all the way around!*

Great image, Dirk! Love the colors and the lighting in this one! It is very powerful. You imediately feel one emotion or another and that is exactly what art is suppose to do! I see a lot of things in here, but I cannot escape the image of the cross!

I love how you attach even greater meaning to your ventures with your blurbs. I saw the crosses at first and the emptiness that goes with abadonment. After reading the comments though, it took on even greater meaning. This may be inspiration for a new poem wink Thanks for sharing Dirk!
