Description
Pretty much just Bryce. A few imports from 3dcafe (plants, chairs, bed). The french windows are actually the same window as in my Vitosha picture. Amazing what scale and perspective can do.
This picture grew up from the railings. I saw a picture yesterday of railings on a balcony and a quick google found a nice set of wrought iron railings. The railings are a replicated lattice as are the windows. The curtains are terrains.
This is a normal AA render and the lights are set to soft shadow. I think this is a bit quicker than setting premium render options.
I even cranked up poser. I'm the one person who doesn't have a Vicky, so this is a Greta. ;-)
Not quite as realistic as my Spanish Alley. I think mainly due to the less intense lighting here. But harsher lights didn't seem to fit the scene.
Wee bit of postwork. Thanks for looking.

quite nice. the french windows and the balocony are great. perhaps the scene needs a bit more ambient light though (just my personal preference). all the same, great work :)

Lovely composition! The mood is easy and relaxed. All done in perfect shadows and light. The soft colors, and textures accent the setting. Excellent image!

Very nice, I love the women behind the drapes. The balocony looks wonderful (imho) The lightings not to bad, maybe a touch more at the bottom, But it is night time :) Great Job Phil! Peace

Wonderful...especially the composition and the shadows on the wall which leads the viewers eye to the open windows and into the room.

Beautiful set up!!! Not so sure about the ambient lighting thing; I think it looks fantastic the way it is.

So beautifully executed... the stucco looks so real (texture perfectly scaled) and the lacey drapes and lanterns so lovely... if feels like a scene in Santa Barbara... lowlight (as I think it should be - it's night time)... so crisp... a super render Phil!

I must apoplogize for the last comment I left on this piece. It was not the image, but rather my comp. When I reinstalled my win XP a couple of days ago, I negleted to reinstall my video card drivers. Everything I look at now is much cleaner and brighter. I also tested my monitor with the test in the tutorial section to make sure all was cool, somthing we should all do once in a while just to be sure. I felt weird leaving that comment because I always enjoy viewing what you post so I had to make sure everything was OK on my end. Very sorry again, Mark

I don't have any vicki's either in any of my images. They are either Dina V, Posette or Eve V4. You are not alone! Very cool image by the way. Your lighting is impeccable IMO.
