This is an outstanding macro, Matt. Detail is one thing, but the composition is marvellous. Super work. (it is, however, PINK! such a girly color... :D )

Just a note: the "-----------------" title wasn't a transparent attempt at pretension...it was merely the result of my lack of ability to come up with a cool title...is this disclaimer pretentious in and of itself?

Fantastic macro Matt, this is a reall joyfull shot, perfect and so beautiful, I don't feel the title as pretentious and I understand your feeling. I do also music an the titles of my tunes are ever like this "Brkkmodiali", or "Strupidriktyro" ... because I never know what title to share. This shot is fantastic. V

Hmmm, not sure if I'm liking these little fellows these days. I was attaced and stung several times last friday and left me in pain for two days. Something so beautiful that has a mean streak a mile long. lol. Wonderful exposure as always.

I love that quote from, 'Absolutely Fabulous' where she goes 'pretentious? ... moi?..... If I was in the habit of stroking bees' backs I would probably stroke this one's back! ....A stunner of a shot... what is left to say?
