Description
Well I went back by Swan Lake & Iris Gardens today to get some more shots, so I could get the last of the different species of swan they have. This is a Bewick Swan (Cygnus columbianus bewickii). From what they say these swans were a gift from Japan. Now I know looks sorta like the Whopper Swan but its not and here is why. Similar to Whooper Swan, but smaller, shorter-necked and more rounded head shape. Bill pattern varies, but always shows more black than yellow (opposite in Whooper Swan). Hope you enjoy.
