Description

Ok, I promise no more double posting. I will start finishing them before I post them. It's easy to get impatient. Here is Stronghold the way it ended up. Kept the mood, but improved the clarity and dynamic range of the colors. Used Photoshops curves, levels, and lighting effects among other things.

I think the figures are interesting but need work on the poses. As a matter of fact when I imagine they are not there at all I see this wonderful painterly castlescape that is breath-taking.

Much better contrast. I agree partially with prufock81. I would delete the figures on the pathway to the entrance but would keep the both main characters. I like the way one is looking at the other. Excellent job netherless. Hope one day I will be able to create such a fantastic scene.

I was thinking of deleting all of the figures, because my earlier Bryce files of this, before I added the figures, had a completely different feel. The figures really nail down the story too much. Who's to say who might live in a place like this. But after posting 2 versions of it already, I feel posting a third might be a little cheezy ;)
