*** this image is for Elena *** Mostly cubes, so they are... but what wonders you can play (make) using them... :) _____ Again, 3D is that wonderful thing that allows me to bring my dreams to life. This one, a Steinway Grand, is one of my wildest. Very basic modeling (mostly cubes, indeed), two area lights, mental ray phisical DOF, layered shaders for the keys and the Steinway Logo. _____ Still learning Maya, so every criticism and comments on how to improve my skills is really welcome. Thanks for stopping by. And, by the way, thanks a lot for all the support you gave me with the incredible AOM thingie last month. :) Couldn't have been possible without you, you already know it. Very nice setup Stefano. Only thing I would have suggested is a small constellation of spots/keys to make it look as if the stage lighting was on. Perhaps a hdri of a concert hall for just a trace of environment in the reflections. Regardless, I like this!

i love it, cubed. (to the third power). I am guessing you have the soundtrack in your mind, too. Just hint us the author and opus, we can't quite make it out... love it! here's to cubisimocentrism and melodious mechanical contraptions!
